Program

The special sound experience resulting from flutes, horns and strings – in contrast to the classical instrumentation of oboes and horns – characterizes the presentations of Compagnia di Punto. This repertoire, rarely performed even back in the times it originated, waits to be re-discovered in these days. The ensemble is not defined by a certain size but plays in various formations from Trio  to chamber orchestra.

The changes in our traditional listening habits confront organizers, audience and musicians with the question as to how listeners and performers can share musical experience. Here, Compagnia di Punto find convincing answers  by developing their own concert conceptions, by creating cross-genre links to literature and theatre  or associatively combining music to tell new stories.
